A man has been fined $800 in Magistrates’ Court for riding a bike without due care and attention on Reid Street in Hamilton.

Sebastian Davis, 20, admitted the offence when he appeared in court yesterday.

The court heard that other vehicles had to take evasive action to avoid colliding with Davis, from Pembroke, on April 13.

In addition to the fine, which he was ordered to pay by July 13, Davis had ten points added to his licence.
