A plaque commemorating the home of Mary Prince at School Lands Cottages on St John's Road, Pembroke. Mary Prince's slave narrative helped bring about the abolition of slavery and provides a unique insight into the lives of the enslaved in Bermuda.

The Mary Prince Legacy Bus Tour

In recognition of Emancipation, Titan Express is offering the Mary Prince Legacy Bus Tour. The tour highlights Mary Prince’s experiences and visits places where she was housed in Bermuda as an enslaved Black woman.

Historical walking tour

History will come alive as you’re transported to the 1800s. Join your guide at the moongate on the pier for an interactive tour while discovering Dockyard’s exciting history.

Come As You Are: The Sapphire Veil

As dusk settles and the moon and stars rise, you will hear the clear, resonant tones of crystal singing bowls alongside the natural chorus of tree frogs and crickets. After the session, underwater lights illuminate the lagoon for warm tea and feeding the resident green turtles.

Wednesday, July 15

An evening of art, wine and food

A pop-up art exhibition and auction featuring local artists along with collector pieces including Picasso and Dali. As well as purchasing art in support of Habitat for Humanity Bermuda and Feeding the Homeless, guests can bid on unique art collectables. Wine and food will be provided.
