Chubb welcomes 25 summer interns
Chubb Bermuda has welcomed 25 students to its 2026 summer internship programme, including four participants in a specialised underwriting initiative aimed at developing future insurance professionals.
The company said its ten-week underwriting programme is designed for Bermudian university students interested in careers in the international insurance industry. Participants receive hands-on training, mentoring and exposure to underwriting and risk assessment.
The four underwriting interns this year are Ramiah Brangman, a data science student at The Open University; Nicholas Kempe, who is studying business administration at the College of Charleston School of Business; Ambya Smith, an international business and management student at Aston University; and Andrew Cox, who is studying business management and organisational studies at Western University.
Another 21 students are taking part in internships across several business areas, including claims, legal, financial lines, excess liability, property, administration, facilities, finance and accounting.
Randolph Simons, senior vice-president of human resources at Chubb Bermuda, said the company was committed to supporting the next generation of industry professionals.
“We're thrilled to welcome our 2026 summer interns to Chubb Bermuda,” Mr Simons said.
“We are proud to support the development of young professionals as they build the skills, confidence and professional networks that will shape their future careers.”
