Teenagers injured in Pembroke shooting

Two teenagers sustained injuries during a reported shooting last night.

A police spokesman said officers were notified that two males, aged 15 and 16, attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening shortly before 10.25pm.

The scene of the shooting has not been confirmed but it is understood to have taken place in the St John’s Road, Langton Hill and Field View Lane area of Pembroke.

The spokesman said: “The suspects are believed to be two males dressed in dark clothing and wearing dark-coloured helmets, who fled the area on a black motorcycle, travelling in an unknown direction.”

An investigation has started and residents in the area who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity should contact Detective Inspector Shannon Trott on 717-2152 or strott@bps.bm.
