US visitor discharged after crash between car and bike

A rental scooter rider was released from hospital after being involved in a collision with a car.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman confirmed that the rider, a 61-year-old woman visiting from the US, received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The incident happened near the junction of Wilkinson Avenue and Trinity Church Road in Hamilton Parish at about 3.45pm last Thursday.

Police thanked witnesses who came forward to assist with inquiries.
