Over the past several years talented brothers Blaiz and Kashe Hall have enjoyed playing alongside each other in a St George’s shirt.

But that will no longer be the case during the upcoming 2026-27 season as they will face off against each other after parting ways with the East End club during the summer transfer period.

Blaiz has been reunited with former St George’s coach Jarreau Hayward at Premier Division and Friendship Trophy champions Dandy Town, while fellow midfielder Kashe has joined forces with FA Cup holders North Village.

Town have been busy bolstering their ranks during the off season after also acquiring midfielder Malachi Trott from St George’s, defender Tre Manders from Robin Hood, McGill University student Benjamin Osset and guest worker Zac Hannay.

“I'm looking forward to working with all the players and progressing them as individuals and as a collective,” Hornets coach Hayward told The Royal Gazette.

“It will be an exciting season and I'm optimistic on what we can achieve.”

Village coach Cal “Patches” Dill is delighted to have secured the services of former St George’s captain Kashe Hall, who also led the club to a maiden FA Cup title during the 2023-24 campaign.

“Kashe Hall has joined North Village and we are happy to be working with this amazingly good player,” said Dill, who has also been reunited with the player after serving on Hayward’s coaching staff at St George’s.

It is understood the East Enders have lost the services of several players as well as coach Drewonde Bascome, who has rejoined Devonshire Cougars as a player.

St George’s president Neil Paynter confirmed that Bascome’s successor has been installed at the club but has yet to reveal the identity.

Bascome has parted ways with St George’s two seasons after replacing 2025-26 coach of the year Hayward, who was sacked after guiding the East End club to their first FA Cup win two season’s ago.

The highlight during Bascome’s tenure at Wellington Oval came last season when he led St George’s to the Dudley Eve Trophy title after they edged Cougars 2-1 in a tight final at Devonshire Recreation Club last November.
