E-bikes are leaving me in the dust

Outside the law: electric bikes (Photograph supplied)

Dear Sir,

There was an op-ed on e-bikes by Maurice Foley in The Royal Gazette on July 29.

My understanding was that we have a law in place that one has to be 16 years of age to ride any motorised vehicle (under 100cc) and to wear a helmet. Why isn't it being enforced?

Mobylettes couldn't go as fast as these bikes and we had to be 16 years old. E-bikes are leaving me in the dust.
