Man arrested for impaired driving after serious crash
A male who sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Warwick in the early hours of this morning is expected to appear before the courts after being arrested for impaired driving.
Police attended the incident on Middle Road, near the junction with Tamarind Vale at around 4am.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “It appears a motorcycle was travelling in a westerly direction along Middle Road when the rider, a male, lost control of the vehicle.”
His vehicle crashed into a wall and the man sustained a serious leg injury as well as minor shoulder injury.
The spokesman added: “Officers observed signs of impairment.
“The male was conveyed to hospital where he was arrested for impaired driving.
“He was subsequently bailed and is expected to appear before the courts in due course.”
