MindFrame PhotoVoice exhibition — The Art of Being Human

The Bermuda Hospitals Board invites the public to celebrate the opening of its annual MindFrame PhotoVoice exhibition at the Bermuda Society of Arts. This year’s exhibit theme features a powerful collection of art, photography and poetry created by clients of the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute. The exhibit will be available to view until October 6 but this weekend’s reception will allow attendees to chat with the artists, their families and supporters, and experience first-hand the inspiration for the work.

Where: Bermuda Society of Arts, City Hall

Romeo & Juliet

This weekend brings to a conclusion the performances of Romeo & Juliet at the new Bermuda Amphitheatre. Interested guests can attend one of the two final performances on Friday and Saturday night. All proceeds from this event go towards the Devil's Isle Shakespeare Company's free performances for local schools. The production features a mix of Bermudian and American professional actors, as well as original music by Séamus Miller and Christina Frith. Ticket price includes dinner, two drink tickets and an intermission dessert.

The After Party

The After Party celebrates all things 1990s and 2000s including the music and energy that defined the era. The event invites attendees to embrace the throwback clothing, the songs and the moves. Music will be provided by artists such as Mikey B, Mista Genius, DJ Scoobay and King Jyrus. A special appearance and live performance from artist Shyne will be one of the highlights of the evening. Additionally, guests who attend the BIU Labour Day Banquet have free admission to The After Party.

Back to School Showtime Kids All-Star Sports Experience

A free sports event for primary and middle school children will be hosted by professional boxer Andre Lambe. Taking place at Port Royal Golf Course, the Back to School Showtime Kids All-Star Experience will feature golf, boxing, pickleball, kickboxing and other fitness stations where participants will get to spend time with coaches and professionals. Lambe’s goal is to get children an opportunity to try a variety of sports and spark their interest. Additionally, food will be available for pre-order to enjoy at the event.

Moongate Brewing Co Presents Oktoberfest

Moongate Brewing is launching its first annual Oktoberfest celebration with an unforgettable three days of authentic German celebration. Traditional German live music, German cuisine and Oktoberfest games are all on deck for the weekend’s schedule. In addition to a wide range of craft brews, it will be unveiling a special beer brewed exclusively for Oktoberfest. The weekend will conclude with a family fun day on Sunday with children’s activities, live music and a bouncy castle. General admission tickets available for guests over 12. Children under 12 are free.

Flyer for the Department of Health's Celebrating Wellness Week 2026

Celebrating Wellness 2026

Focusing on the theme “Engage, Empower, Elevate: Working together to improve health and well-being for all”, this weeklong event will provide activities surrounding the topic of holistic wellness. Provided by the Department of Health, Celebrating Wellness is free and family-friendly. On offer are sporting events for all ages and abilities, intergenerational friendly competitions and a finale celebration.The wellness week kicks off with a youth-led discussion on physical activity in schools on Saturday, September 19.
