Trinae Edwards signs for Barnsley Women
Bermuda international Trinae Edwards has expressed her delight at signing for Barnsley Women’s FC.
Edwards will link up with international team-mate Aaliyah Nolan at the club, who play in the FA Women's National League Division 1 Midlands.
“I’m delighted to be joining Barnsley and show what I can do,” Edwards said.
“The club has been great and I’m pleased to be reunited with my fellow Bermudian international Aaliyah.”
Edwards has previously played for Brighouse Town, Leeds United and FC United of Manchester, as well as representing Bermuda, and Barnsley Women’s manager Craige Richardson is delighted to have her on board.
“Our recruitment just keeps going from strength to strength,” Richardson said
“I’m excited to see what Trinae can do at this level, having already played at Leeds and FC United of Manchester.
“In the short time she’s been with us, you can see she’s an absolute baller with an edge. She also comes highly recommended by Aaliyah who knows her from her Bermudian international call-ups.
“I believe we’ve secured another very exciting prospect. Welcome to the club, Trinae.”
