Moongate Brewing Co Presents Oktoberfest

Moongate Brewing is launching its first Oktoberfest celebration with an unforgettable three days of authentic German celebration. Traditional German live music, German cuisine and Oktoberfest games are all on deck for the weekend’s schedule. In addition to a wide range of craft brews, it will be unveiling a special beer brewed exclusively for Oktoberfest. The weekend will conclude with a family fun day on Sunday with children’s activities, live music and a bouncy castle. General admission tickets available for guests over 12. Children under 12 are free.

Recovery Month Breakfast

In recognition of National Recovery Month, Focus Counselling Services will be hosting a breakfast event celebrating the impact of recovery. As guests enjoy breakfast they will get to experience a keynote address presented by Francko Harris, an overview of the impact of Focus Counselling Services, and an opportunity to connect with members of the community. Focus invites supporters, healthcare professionals and people who believe in the power of recovery to celebrate the lives that have been changed on the journey to healing.

The Lumina Festival: Financial Literary Summit

Returning for another year, The Lumina Festival promises an exciting full-day experience where attendees will learn about finances, entrepreneurship and building wealth. The day included a keynote interview with Craig Bridgewater and Jasmine DeSilva, as well as a keynote speech from USA Today best-selling author Armando Pantoja, aka @tallyguytycoon on Instagram. Additionally there will be a variety of workshops and panels on topics such as creative business, digital finance and real estate. The day is capped with a networking happy hour from 5.30pm to 8pm.

The Human Library

The Human Library is an international organisation and movement that presents attendees with an opportunity to engage in open and non-judgmental dialogue with their volunteers who serve as human books each with their own experience. Every human book from the bookshelf, represents a group in our society that is often subjected to prejudice or stigmatisation due to lifestyle, social status or identity. This is a safe place intended to build bridges of understanding and connection in our community.

Bermestival: Acoustic Music Festival

An evening celebrating live acoustic music will be launching on the island with Bermestival. Interested persons are invited to bring a blanket and some friends for a night of live music, good vibes and all proceeds from the event will go to Skillcraft Bermuda. Performances include Aqua Skanks, JC Blues, Oscar Trejo and Tino Martinez. Enjoy sunset views, music and a full bar courtesy of Moongate Brewing Co.
