INTX expands Bermuda presence
INTX Insurance Software has announced a strategic partnership with Bermudian-based Bespoke Analytics, “expanding INTX’s presence and local delivery capabilities across one of the world’s most important insurance and reinsurance markets”.
The Austin, Texas company said it is bringing “its dedicated re/insurance operating system and on-island delivery expertise to Bermuda’s $197.5 billion insurance and reinsurance market”.
INTX said the partnership represents a significant step in their Bermuda investment and will provide the island’s insurers and reinsurers with local implementation, data migration, integration and technology expertise around the INTX re/insurance operating system.
“Bermuda continues to play a central role in the global reinsurance market,” the statement continued. “The Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers recently reported that its member companies wrote a record $197.5 billion in gross premiums in 2025, underscoring the scale and continued growth of the market.
“For INTX, the expansion brings its reinsurance-first technology closer to a market managing some of the world’s most complex risk and capital structures.”
INTX provides dedicated technology for both sides of the reinsurance transaction through INTX ReinsureConnect RI, its ceded reinsurance platform, and INTX Re, its assumed reinsurance platform.
Together with INTX Core, the company’s P&C insurance operating platform, INTX enables organisations to connect underwriting, policy administration, reinsurance, claims, financial operations and reporting within a modern operating environment.
“Bermuda is central to the global reinsurance market, and it is a strategic market for INTX,” said Rob Lewis, CEO of INTX Insurance Software.
“If we are going to build the operating system for modern insurance and reinsurance, we need to be close to the organisations managing the industry’s most sophisticated risks.
“Bespoke gives us more than on-island implementation capacity. They bring deep knowledge of how Bermuda’s insurers and reinsurers operate, how their data moves, and what it takes to successfully modernise technology in this market.”
Bespoke Analytics has worked with insurance, reinsurance and financial services organisations in Bermuda for more than two decades, with expertise spanning data architecture, integration, business intelligence, reporting and technology implementation.
Through the partnership, Bespoke will support INTX implementations in Bermuda across business analysis, solution delivery, historical data migration, systems integration, testing and go-live. Bespoke is also expanding its local delivery team to support growing INTX implementation activity on the island.
“We have spent more than 20 years working inside Bermuda’s insurance and reinsurance technology environments, and we understand both the complexity of the market and the limitations created by fragmented legacy infrastructure,” said Paul McLeod, founder and president of Bespoke Analytics.
“INTX brings something important to the market: a modern platform designed around how insurance and reinsurance businesses actually operate. Combining that technology with experienced, on-island implementation and data expertise gives Bermuda organisations a practical path to modernisation.”
INTX and Bespoke Analytics will work jointly with Bermuda insurers and reinsurers evaluating modernisation initiatives across ceded reinsurance, assumed reinsurance, core insurance operations, data and integration.
“Technology modernisation in reinsurance cannot stop at better interfaces or another layer around ageing infrastructure,” Mr Lewis added. “Ceded and assumed reinsurance are fundamental operating disciplines. Bermuda organisations should have access to modern technology built specifically for them, backed by people who understand the market. That is what we are building here.”
The partnership is part of INTX’s broader strategy to expand its presence in major global re/insurance markets while building the local expertise and delivery capabilities required to support complex insurance organisations.
