More than 6,000 Allshores shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today. The insurer was the only issuer to see trading activity and remained unchanged on $28.50.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged on 3,693.65. Trading volume for the day was 6,018 shares and turnover totalled $171,513.

For the week, the index fell 2.69 points, or 0.07 per cent. The decrease was driven by a 17.1 per cent fall in Watlington Waterworks.

Allshores, the most heavily traded issuer with volume of 24,357 shares, gained 1.8 per cent for the week. Butterfield remained unchanged after 1,226 of the bank’s shares traded.

BSX volume for the week was 26,983 shares, while turnover was $806,046.05.

Butterfield’s US-listed shares gained 37 cents, or 0.63 per cent, to close at $58.65 on the New York Stock Exchange today.
