A series of traffic lights in the centre of Hamilton were restored to operation this afternoon after they went dark for the second time this month.
Drivers were urged to use care in the affected areas, where technicians are working to restore service.
A City of Hamilton spokeswoman advised at 2pm that lights affected included “the junction of Queen Street and Church Street, the pedestrian crossing opposite the City Hall car park near Dismont Drive and the pedestrian crossing further along Church Street near the Central Bus Terminal”.
An update at about 3.45pm said that the signals were back in operation.
Outages also affected two of the same sets of lights in June.
