Man admits robbing bank

Che Tumang Pennyman, of Pembroke, admitted to one count of robbery and one count of using a firearm to commit a robbery. Nearly $25,000 was taken from the bank during the robbery on October 14.
His alleged accomplice, Anthony Francis, of Devonshire, has denied possessing a firearm, which had a barrel 24 inches in length, and robbing the bank's branch. A shot was fired in the ceiling of the bank, although no-one was injured.
Francis was remanded in custody for mention on March 1.
