Traffic diversions at hospital

Photograph supplied

Bermuda Hospitals Board advises the public of traffic diversions on the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) campus today. The diversions affect both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

A well pump on outside the Emergency Department is being replaced. The work necessitates closure of a section of road outside the Emergency Department. For today vehicular access to the KEMH main entrance on Point Finger Road is operating as two-way. Please exercise extra caution when driving on the KEMH campus. Signage is posted and warning cones have been placed

The work also requires a section of the public walkway outside Emergency being closed to pedestrians. Again, signage has been posted directing pedestrians through the diversion. Please adhere to the signs.

Bermuda Hospitals Board apologises to the public for any inconvenience caused by the diversions. • Press release from the Bermuda Hospitals Board
