Butterfield shares slip 1.7% in New York

Butterfield shares fell 70 cents on the New York Stock Exchange, but did not trade on the BSX
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed where it opened today at 2,366.74, as no shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 70 cents, or 1.74 per cent, to close on $39.50 on the New York Stock Exchange. The bank’s most recent trade on the BSX, on Wednesday, was for $40.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 0.82 of a point to close on 1,561.99.
