A parenting group has donated children's chairs, books and toys to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital's A&E paediatric room.

Meet-a-Mum Association (MAMA) of Bermuda also raised funds to provide a nursing chair, to make the department more comfortable for parents and children.

MAMA is a support and resource group for mothers and caregivers. It provides weekly playgroups and publishes the 'Stroller' newsletter containing articles on childcare, health and fitness.

This coming Saturday the organisation is holding a Car Boot Sale at St. Mary's Church Hall, Warwick, between 9 a.m. and noon.

It aims to raise funds to provide the A&E waiting room with children's books and toys.
