Nearly half a million dollars worth of Butterfield Bank shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The bank’s share price remained unchanged on $52, as 9,329 shares with a value of $484,957 were traded.

Butterfield’s US-listed shares gained 95 cents, or 1.8 per cent, to close at $52.84 in US Stock Exchange trading.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,924.08. For the week, the index slipped 3.94 points, or 0.1 per cent.
