Exiles, who advanced from seventh to fifth in the standings with the victory, twice battled back from being behind, with strikes from Antoine Cannonier and Martin Siese serving to erase two goals from Wanderers' Richard Correia.

Wanderers, after a searing start, have hit a rough patch as of late, having been eliminated from the Commercial Division Knockout Cup and close to being ousted from the Commercial League Cup.

In fact it was a tumultuous weekend for several clubs as the tables suffered a severe shake-up.

Forties helped themselves get out of the cellar, beating the side that would replace them, KPMG -- fifth heading into the day's play -- 2-1.

Andy Robinson of Forties and KMPG's Stuart Drake each scored once in the first half, before the former struck again early following the interval, to allow for the final scoreline.

Other losers were Somerset Extros, who dropped from fourth to sixth after falling at the hands of Robin Hood 3-2.

Keeping up his torrid scoring pace for Hood was Des Minors, with two goals, while Ray Harrison added one. Stevie Riley scored for the losers.

A suddenly rejuvenated Island Rangers continued their resurgence with a startling 4-1 hammering of second-placed Spinning Wheel as Blaine Outerbridge proved unstoppable, registering a hat-trick, aided by a goal by Troy Berkeley.

Keith Bell got the lone tally for Wheel.

There was no such turmoil in Group B as results, for the most part, went according to form.

Leaders North Village Rams maintained a two-point advantage over nearest challengers Lobster Pot and Devonshire Colts All-Stars through a 5-0 mauling of Park United. It was amazingly their first-ever win against the side formerly known as Coca-Cola.

Garrett Dill led the scoring chase for Rams with two, while others came from Wendell Baxter and Cornell Castle.

Meanwhile, Pot had their way early against new boys Genesis, as they watched Mike Evans and Tony Smith create a 2-0 lead in the opening half, which held up until the end.

A closely-fought affair ensued between Fire Service and Valley, as after battling through a scoreless first half, they exploded for five goals in the second, with Service eventually winning 3-2.

Troy Brimmer, Roger Dill and Ralph Scott were on target for the winners, while Glenn Simmons (penalty) and Chet Trott replied for Valley.

The only other match witnessed St. George's All-Stars defeat Prison Officers 3-1.

In Alliance Division Group A, Devonshire Colts downed St. George's 3-2.

Phillion Webb (two) and Kenny Dill scored for Colts with Sinclair Gibbons (two) doing likewise for St. George's.

Zane Stowe, Milford Waldron and Mark Butterfield scored in Dandy Town's 3-1 triumph over Hamilton Parish, who had Mark Wilson on the scoresheet.

North Village beat PHC 2-0 as Tillman Darrell and Richard Wilson both scored.

Group B leaders Southampton had the easiest of tasks when Prospect failed to show for their match at the Oval.

Boulevard, likewise, enjoyed a leisurely stroll, blasting BAA 10-2 with Shivaughn Smith and Amon Brown scoring two goals apiece and Vincent Tuzo, Gary Mallory, Abdul Smith, Darian Smith and Dennis DeRosa one each.

Andre Durham and Giovanni Bell scored for the losers.

Finally, St. David's defeated Devonshire Cougars 2-1.
