One Communications Ltd repurchased almost a quarter of a million of its own shares in December, at a cost of more than $600,000.

The company bought 223,733 of its common shares at an average price of $2.85 for immediate cancellation.

LOM Financial Ltd was another Bermuda Stock Exchange-listed company buying back shares last month.

The investment firm said it repurchased 7,400 shares at a price of $2.50 for cancellation during December. LOM added that a director of the company also bought 6,234 shares, also at $2.50.
