Tourists being tempted by a month of love

Bermuda is to try and entice visitors to the Island's shores – with a month of love.Sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Tourism (BDOT), visitors in key gateway markets are currently being tempted to our shores to celebrate Bermuda's first ‘Feel the Love Month', from February 1 – February 28.And once on island, they're encouraged to participate in the free line up of love-related activities.Minister of Business Development and Tourism, Patrice Minors, said this type of promotional campaign was “a wonderful way to showcase Bermuda as a romantic getaway to the rest of the world”.Ms Minors added: “Bermuda provides all the elements to be swept away for a quintessential romantic escape, including our signature pink sand beaches, turquoise waters, world-class spas, fine dining with spectacular ocean views, and rich arts and cultural offerings.“Bermuda's Feel the Love Month enhances all those elements and includes a range of daily activities such as a ‘Love Train' city tour, chocolate tastings, champagne and strawberries museum reception, salsa dancing nights and more. So we are hoping as many visitors as possible take advantage of our romantic getaway line up of activities.”According to the BDOT, visitors can also receive the third night free when booking a minimum three-night stay at 16 participating hotels and resorts during ‘Feel the Love Month' as part of the Compliments of Bermuda promotion.‘Feel the Love' is being sponsored by BGA, Gosling's, The Gourmet Boutique, Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art and SalsaMania Productions. For more information about the full list of activities for Feel the Love Month see the attached flyer or visit www.bermudatourism.com
