Owner and CEO of At HomeHealth, Inc., Shelby Durham-Jackson has had her business recognised as one of the top 100 privately owned businesses by Philadelphia 100 and will be listed in the October 27 issue of Philadelphia Business Journal.

The honour is presented by Wharton Small Business Development and the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia.

Ms Durham-Jackson is the daughter of the late Coolidge Durham and Julia Durham (nee Furbert) of Crawl Hill, Hamilton Parish.

Founded in 1996, At Home Health, Inc. has grown from two employees to currently over 60 in staff.

At Home Health is a state and Medicare certified agency that provides skilled nursing, physical, speech, and occupational therapy, social work, and home health aide services to seniors in underserved communities throughout Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.

On October 24, Ms Durham-Jackson will be honoured for her achievements at an evening banquet, located at the Sheraton Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia.

Weeks efforts recognised

Sherry Weeks of ERA Weeks & Browning Realty in Montgomery was among the top producers recognised at a prestigious conference in Bermuda.

ERA Franchise Systems Inc., one of the world's largest residential real estate franchisers, honoured its most successful sales associates at its annual "Beyond Excellence" conference in Bermuda.

The conference is by invitation only. To qualify for this year's event, ERA sales associates or selling-brokers must have achieved 40 residential units closed or $100,000 in residential adjusted gross commission in 2005.

eVolution, a Bermuda-based application service provider yesterday announces that it has been appointed to provide a host of IT services to Universal Electric, Bermuda's longest serving electrical contracting company.

In a move to upgrade their ageing IT system, Universal Electric will outsource its entire IT function to eVolution.

In the three-year contract, eVolution will provide 30 end users in the electrical company with a primary platform for e-mail, file and print services, data storage, remote access and disaster recovery services.

Ray Beaulne, general manager at Universal Electric, explains why the company has opted for eVolution: "In order to optimally serve our customers, we need technology that is current and reliable."

Hawksmere celebrates 20 years
