Event staff put out AC village fire

A fire in the America’s Cup event village on Sunday evening did not affect yesterday’s schedule.
The small fire in an exterior area of the Goslings Dark ’n Stormy Island Bar was immediately put out by staff, said an America’s Cup Event Authority spokeswoman.
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service also attended to ensure the fire had been put out and presented no further risk.
