HSBC Bank Bermuda staff have made a donation of $5,725 to The Coalition for the Protection of Children.

This week’s cheque presentation marked the second consecutive year that funds had been raised for charity by the bank’s Operations, Services and Technology (HOST) employees, through their Denim Day donations collected over the previous year.

Kevin Oates, Head of Information Technology at HSBC Bermuda, who was joined by Teresa Watts from the HOST Social Club for the presentation, said: “Choosing from a list of over 100 registered charities, employees selected the CPC as the charity they most wanted to give back to, due to the significant and positive impact it continues to make, as advocates for the protection of all children in Bermuda against abuse and neglect.”
