Butterfield shares improve by 30 cents

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 12.49 points
The Bank of Butterfield rose 30 cents to $32.50 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The move, equal to 0.9 per cent, came after 1,497 shares traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange the bank was also up by 43 cents, or 1.31 per cent, to $33.25.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 13.49 points, or 0.68 per cent, at 2,004.46.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 19.32 points, or 1.02 per cent, at 1,868.66.
