The Ministry of Education, Sports and Recreation offers a variety of After-School Programmes (ASP) for primary school aged children througohut the community. ASPs operate during the school year from Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In these programmes children are exposed to a variety of recreational activities that contribute to their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

The 11 afterschool programmes located in Government school facilities include some of the following activities: sports, drama, dance, arts and crafts, and multicultural events. Registration takes place on a first come first serve basis in June and a voucher must be presented to register. These vouchers can be purchased from The General Post Office and sub-offices.
