Four-week session with instructor Emma Ingham. Instruction in the basics of watercolours. Hands-on instruction on the principles of watercolour painting. Demonstrations on composition, choice of subject and how to achieve a pleasing focus in your work. You will learn to sketch or block in your subject to make for a successful painting, whether from a still life, or using a photo reference, or painting on location. You should bring your own watercolour supplies. A list of basics is available from BSoA when you register. The price is $120.
