“Coleslaw is lower in fat and lower in sodium and has natural vegetables,” said Hannah Simpson, Clinical Dietitian at KEMH.
“Coleslaw is better than potato salad because it’s a raw vegetable salad,” said health coach Preston Ephraim II. Slaws that don’t contain fatty dressings or mayonnaise are best.
