Flu shot traffic snarl-up

Demand for flu shots has caused major traffic jams in Warwick today.

The Flu Express site at the rubber tree on Middle Road was flooded with people anxious to get the vaccination, which led to traffic backed up in both directions.

A police spokesman said: “If not heading to get the flu shot, motorists are advised to use South Road to get to their destinations.”
