A massed orchestra performance slated for St George today has been moved indoors because of the risk of heavy rain.

The concert, which was to have involved the Bermuda Youth Orchestra, the Royal Bermuda Regiment Band & Corps of Drums and the String Collective Community Orchestra in King’s Square, will instead go ahead at the scheduled 3.30pm start time at Christ Anglican Church in Devonshire, but without the RBR component because of space limitations.

Major Dwight Robinson, the RBR’s Director of Music, said: “Given the pandemic guidelines, the BYO Strings and the String Collective Orchestra only will perform.

“The Regiment Band will consider options for presentation in the coming weeks.”
