Police are investigating a car fire - which they helped to extinguish.

Officers attended the fire just before 9pm on Saturday at a home on Runway Lane, Sandy’s Parish.

A police spokesman said: “Upon arrival, officers using fire extinguishers were able to put out the fire.

“The owner told officers she had driven the car home just minutes before she was notified the vehicle was on fire.”

Bermuda Fire and rescue Service also attended and made sure the fire was extinguished.
