BOOSTER SHOT

Perseverance. This past Saturday, we had two examples of why you never give up trying.

In the Champions League final, Chelsea was dramatically outplayed but they never gave up. Their hard work resulted in a goal with time running out to tie the game and a last shot goal in the penalties to win the championship. In the Preakness Stakes a little later that day, the horse that won the Kentucky Derby, dramatically came from behind to win the race and now has a chance to win the Triple Crown.

The lesson to be learned is that you should never quit trying to move towards your goals. The speed bumps you face create the opportunity to work harder and smarter.

So maintain a positive attitude, learn what you need to do, and just do it!

“Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another.” — Walter Dwight
