Busy weekend for swimmers

Tomorrow a Masters swim meet will be held at BASA pool and on Sunday the Pepperidge Farm Summer Swim Series continues with a one and a half mile ocean race at Elbow Beach.

Tomorrow a Masters swim meet will be held at BASA pool and on Sunday the Pepperidge Farm Summer Swim Series continues with a one and a half mile ocean race at Elbow Beach.Swimmers over 20 and of all levels are encouraged to compete in the Masters meet, which begins at 1.00 p.m. with warm-ups. The meet is designed to be fun and to allow swimmers to earn official times in 14 different events.Meanwhile, the Summer Swim Series, organised by the Bermuda Triathlon Association and the Master Swim Association, continues at 5.00 p.m. on a loop course along Elbow Beach.A fee of $3 ($5 for the Masters meet) will apply.
