Computer glitch delays HIP and FutureCare statements

Technical issues have delayed the release of billing statements.

Computer challenges have caused delays to HIP and FutureCare statements, according to the Health Insurance Department.

A spokeswoman said that a problem with invoice software had meant that billing statements for the month of April had not been generated or mailed out.

The spokeswoman added: “In addition, participants who currently pay their monthly premiums via direct debit will note that the payment has not yet been completed.

“We are working on the issue and anticipate a resolution within the next few days. The HID apologises for any inconvenience.”
