Bermudian doctor to speak at Grenada university event tonight

A local doctor is to give a talk at a recruitment drive and information session being hosted this evening by Grenada’s St George’s University.

Dr Kyjuan Brown, owner of Northshore Medical and Aesthetics Center and graduate of the university, will be joined by Jade Richardson, a Bermudian student at the university, in the talk.

The university will share information about its programmes and scholarships.

Dentrecia Blanchette, the university’s associate director of admissions, Caribbean, said: “Dr Brown is the embodiment of a global leader who is serving his community with excellence.

“He is the owner of Northshore Medical and Aesthetics Center and of Dr Brown's Laboratory, which is a full Bermudian owned and doctor-formulated product line.

“We are proud of how he has been able to continue to serve Bermudians.

“Jade Richardson is a current student at our University from Bermuda and we are happy that she will join us in the session to share information about her first-hand experience as a student.”

Ms Blanchette added: “There's also a physician shortage that we are meeting by educating physicians to be global leaders and serve anywhere in the world.”

The event starts at 5.30pm in the at The Reefs Resort and Club’s session room.
