Clarien Bank is reducing its lending rates by 0.25 per cent from January 12.
The bank said the change would affect variable rate loans and mortgages subject to Clarien’s Bermuda Dollar base rate and US Dollar prime rate.
Clients will receive written notices explaining the change and the date it will take effect based on their specific loan agreement.
A Clarien spokesman said: “Our team is available to answer questions from borrowing clients and explain this change and how it may affect their payments. We welcome customers to contact Clarien’s Service Centre at 441-296-6969 or e-mail servicecenter@clarienbank.com.”
