Ralph Scott was named MVP for Basketball Without Borders

Bermudian Ralph Scott has been named MVP on the Basketball Without Borders tour of El Salvador.

Scott was chosen as the best player in camp from 30 of the region’s most promising young players who travelled to San Salvador for a series of training sessions and matches.

The 6ft 7in small forward, a 17-year-old student at IMG Academy in Florida, followed in the footsteps of some notable NBA players who have attended BWB camps, including 2024-25 MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Joel Embiid, Josh Giddey, Bennedict Mathurin, Jamal Murray, Pascal Siakam, Isaiah Hartenstein, Deandre Ayton and Rui Hachimura.

Scott completed the tour and returned to Bermuda for the summer this afternoon.
