WHH drops 24.5%
West Hamilton Holdings Ltd. fell 24.5 percent ($2.45) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The developer of the former Bermuda Bakery site closed the day at $7.55 with 2,800 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank also slipped four percent (five cents) to $1.20, as 37,100 common shares changed hands.
The bank, meanwhile, transacted 19 preference shares, each worth $1,275.
The Ascendant Group Ltd. dropped one percent (15 cents) to $14.80, with 100 shares traded, and KeyTech Ltd. saw 12,200 shares change hands as it declined 0.7 percent (five cents) to $7.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd. however bucked the trend, rising 4.8 percent (25 cents) to $5.50, with 100 shares traded.
Overall the Index fell 2.12 percent (24.31 points) to 1,124.5, as 52,300 shares worth BD$154,135 and 19 shares worth US$23,106.11 were transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index also slid six points (0.59 percent) to 1,011.
