Butterfield Bank rose 3.17 percent (four cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 1,900 shares to close at $1.30.The Ascendant Group Ltd also saw 20 shares change hands, but its share price held firma t $14.25.The Index, as a whole, climbed 19.14 points (1.71 percent) to 1,136.63 with 1,920 shares worth BD$2,761 and 661 shares worth US$6,643.05 transacted.The BSX Insurance Index dropped four points (0.41 percent) to 974.
