Watlington dips 17%

Watlington Waterworks dropped 17.6 percent ($2.45) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.The utilities company traded 1,000 shares during the day.Also in utilities KeyTech Ltd rose 5.8 percent (35 cents) to $6.35 with 13,815 shares changing hands.BF&M Ltd was also up 3.4 percent (50 cents) to $15 as 6,900 shares were transacted.Butterfield Bank’s common shares climbed 0.8 percent (one cent) to $1.30 with 43,105 shares traded. The bank also saw 88 preference shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1,250.The only other trader was the Ascendant Group Ltd which transacted 22,214 shares, however its share value remained unchanged at $14.Overall the Index increased 10.44 points (0.9 percent) to 1,180.12 with 87,034 shares worth BD$571,555.25 and 288 shares worth US$112,190 traded.The BSX Insurance Index was also up two points (0.2 percent) to 1,020.
