Butterfield Bank traded 16,865 common shares on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.But the bank’s share price remained unchanged at $1.30. It also saw 140 preference shares worth $1,250 each change hands.Watlington Waterworks Ltd also transacted 1,000 shares but its share value held firm at $11.50.The Index, as a whole, opened and closed at 1,157.88 with 17,865 shares worth BD$33,112.50 and 140 shares worth US$176,121.11 traded.The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 14 points (1.37 percent) to 1,006.
