Butterfield Bank rose 1.44 percent (two cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 5,000 shares to close at $1.40.BF&M Ltd also saw 14,700 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $14.80.Overall the Index was up 9.57 points (0.8 percent) at 1,199.34 with 19,700 shares worth $222,415 transacted.The BSX Insurance Index, however, fell four points (0.41 percent) to 975.
