BCB climbs 8%

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd rose 8.63 percent (95 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.
The bank traded 100 shares to close at $11.95.
Butterfield Bank also saw 3,400 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.50.
Overall the Index was up 4.69 points (0.38 percent) at 1,234.7 as 3,500 shares worth $6,295 were transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, fell seven points (0.75 percent) to 921.
