BF&M gains 1.7%

Insurers BF&M Ltd and Argus Group Holdings Ltd moved in opposite directions in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading last week.BF&M climbed 25 cents, or 1.7 percent, to close the week on $15.25, as 6,600 shares traded.Argus fell six cents, or 1.4 percent, to $4.30 on the trading of 3,500 shares.The most heavily traded stock was that of Butterfield Bank, which remained on $1.25 as more than 357,000 of its shares changed hands.Ascendant Group Ltd, owner of Belco, also gained one cent, or almost 0.1 percent, as 660 shares traded.The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 1.79 points, or 0.16 percent, during the five days of trading, to close on 1,096.78.Volume topped 370,000 shares while turnover was just shy of $544,000.
