Butterfield Bank rose 4.3 percent on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank’s shares closed up 5 cents at $1.20 on a volume of 996.No other shares traded on the BSX.Overall the Index closed up 2.26 percent, or 23.70, at 1,071.36.The BSX Insurance Index closed down 2.19 percent, or 21.00, at 979.00.
