Butterfield Bank traded 64,800 shares on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.But the bank’s share price remained unchanged at $1.15. It also saw 55 preference shares change hands but the share value held firm at $1,230.Overall the Index opened and closed at 1,048.64 with 64,800 shares worth BD$74,520 and 55 shares worth US$68,077.78 transacted.The BSX Insurance Index, however, fell three points (0.3 percent) to 1,001.
