Ascendant climbs 3.6%

Ascendant Group Limited jumped 47 cents (3.6 percent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, trading 4,200 shares to close at $13.67.
BF&M Limited traded 5,400 shares to close up 49 cents (3.2 percent) at $15.74.
Overall, the The Royal Gazette / BSX closed at 1,025.60, down 7.47 points (0.73 percent), with 28,051 shares trading worth $162,706.10.
The BSX Insurance Index was also up, rising 7.00 points (0.68 percent) to 1030.00.
