BPH shares rise 10%

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd’s (BPH) shares rose ten percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading yesterday.

BPH, which owns

The Royal Gazette, as well as a range of printing, retail and real estate interests, rose $1 on the trading of 1,000 shares to close at $11.

Butterfield Bank shares fell two cents, or 1.8 percent, to close on $1.08, as 14,000 of its shares were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette / BSX Index fell 8.3 points, or 0.8 percent, to close on 1,028.

Yesterday 15,800 shares were traded and turnover totalled $34,920.
