Argus climbs 11%

Argus Group Holdings Ltd bounced back off its 52-week low to record the biggest gain on the Bermuda Stock Exchange domestic board last week.The insurer rose 40 cents, or 11.1 percent, to close the week on $4, as 3,000 shares traded.The only other stocks to change in value last week moved downward.Ascendant Group Ltd, parent of electricity provider Belco, suffered the biggest drop, dipping 49 cents, or 3.8 percent, to $12.26 on the trading of 450 shares.Insurer BF&M Ltd tumbled 25 cents, or 1.6 percent, to close at $15.75 on Friday, as 1,400 of its shares changed hands.Butterfield Bank slipped one cent, or 0.8 percent, to $1.25 as 9,500 shares were exchanged.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 3.52 points, or 0.32 percent, to close the week on 1,085.46. Volume was 14,472 shares and turnover was just shy of $67,000.
